Is it possible to book 2 single passes, 3 multi passes, and get in a virtual queue all in one day? Also, are you able to book a single pass and have a virtual queue for the same ride? Thanks!

    Hi Jillian!

Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney! It sounds like you’re preparing for an epic park day!

I’m happy to let you know that…yes! You can purchase and book Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass AND join a Virtual Queue all in one day. Let’s break it down.

If you’re staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel, you’ll be able to purchase and book Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date. If you’re staying off property, the booking window for your Lightning Lane services will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket if it’s a date-based ticket.

When you book your Lightning Lane services, you’ll be able to select 3 Lightning Lane pre-selections in one park using Lightning Lane Multi Pass. And you’ll be able to book up to 2 Lightning Lane Single Passes. If you have a valid park hopper linked to your account, those 2 Lightning Lane Single Passes do not need to be at the same park.

On your park day, you’ll also be able to join a Virtual Queue. There are currently two rides at Disney World that offer Virtual Queues: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot. You can join one Virtual Queue at a time, and yes! You can even join the Virtual Queue for a ride that you purchased a Lightning Lane for.

The Virtual Queue opens at 7 AM daily, and it can fill up fast! So make sure to click through the prompts on your My Disney Experience app quickly. If you don’t get into the Virtual Queue at 7 AM, another Virtual Queue opens at 1 PM. You just need to be at the park where the ride is located in order to join the 1 PM Virtual Queue.

I hope that helps and you have the best time! Let us know if you have any other questions!
