Do I need to pay in advance for a dinner reservation at the Polynesian resort

Hi there, Charlene, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you're here with this awesome question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You'll be arriving in just a few short days! It sounds like you're looking forward to some incredible dining during your visit, and I know you won't be disappointed when dining at any of the restaurants at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Charlene, when you make an Advance Dining Reservation, you are not typically required to pay in advance. You will notice that as you make your reservation, you will be required to enter your credit card information. This is simply to hold your reservation. You're able to cancel it without penalty up until two hours before your reserved time. Once you dine at the restaurant, you can use a different form of payment if you like, whether you're using a dining plan, gift card, cash, or other credit card.

You'll love dining at the Polynesian! Each restaurant there offers delicious food with a thoughtful ambiance that makes you feel like you're in the islands! One of my all-time favorite dining experiences is at 'Ohana, where the all-you-care-to-enjoy feast is one you'll remember for ages.

Charlene, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your arrival at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See you real soon!
