Does Port Orleans French Quarter have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the rooms?

Bonjour, Shelley, and welcome back to planDisney! As Tiana would sing, "You're almost there!" Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is just around the bayou's bend, so let's look at the magical details of what you'll find in your Disney Resort Hotel.

Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter was the very first resort my family visited, so it holds a special place in my heart. I can still see my then-toddler son holding his grandfather's hand as they walked the lush grounds to refill their drink mugs. They called it "Mug Walking," and we still use that term 20 years later! And although times have changed, this resort is still as quaint and gorgeous as ever.

I chatted with a beignet-loving Cast Member who said that rooms at this resort typically have shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in refillable containers attached to the shower wall. Housekeeping keeps these disinfected and full for your convenience. I love that Disney is reducing waste by using these refillable toiletry bottles. It's so much better for the planet! There should also be bar soap and lotion waiting near the bathroom sink, so you'll have all the comforts of home.

If you need additional supplies or refills, please don't hesitate to contact housekeeping. They'll climb the mountain and cross the river to ensure your stay is fit for a prince, not a frog.

My family loves hopping aboard the Sassagoula River Cruise for a relaxing boat ride from this resort to Disney Springs. We typically spend our first evening easing ourselves into the Disney magic there. Nothing says, "You're home!" like a stroll through the World of Disney

Shelley, like that New Orleans princess, you know exactly where you're going. I know your visit is going to be fabulous. Please stop by planDisney anytime. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
