What's poppin', Kathy? Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question today about my family's most favorite snack at the Walt Disney World Resort - popcorn! Yes, it's simple, but it's also consistently delicious, lures us in with its enticing, buttery scent, and keeps us fueled as we move through the parks! We always carry a souvenir popcorn bucket and refill frequently to munch on a snack that's as easy to share as it is to enjoy!
Souvenir popcorn buckets are always available at each of the Theme Parks, as well as at Disney Springs, but truth be told, the inventory is constantly changing, so while I can share with you some of the recent available buckets, I can't guarantee they will still be available when you arrive for your visit! Part of the fun, though, is the magical surprises you might find when you arrive! You can also keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as they will sometimes release details about special, limited edition souvenir buckets for holidays or other special celebrations!
For now, though, here are some of the recent souvenir buckets spotted popping up at the resort:
- At Disney Springs, you might find the Donald Duck Munchling Popcorn Bucket, featuring a celebration of everyone's favorite duck's 90th birthday! It's a two-piece bucket with a strap that features a Donald Duck designed after the munchling merchandise! You might also spot a Valentino Popcorn Bucket, inspired by the movie Wish, which has also been spotted in the parks from time to time.
- Disney's Hollywood Studios is my favorite park to keep an eye out for unique popcorn buckets! Recently, the Perfect Picnic Popcorn Bucket, which pays tribute to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction, and the Toy Story-inspired Alien Pizza Planet Truck Bucket have been known to pop up at popcorn carts in this park. In Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, also keep your eyes open for themed buckets like the Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet, which is even currently available through Mobile Food and Beverage ordering from Kat Saka's Kettle in the My Disney Experience mobile app!
- In Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Pumbaa from The Lion King has been the star of a specialty popcorn bucket as the park celebrates the 30th anniversary of the animated classic.
- There is also a more traditional popcorn bucket that features Moana, Tiana, Toy Story aliens, Simba, and icons from each of the four Theme Parks that is currently available at each of the Theme Parks.
Kathy, I hope this helps and I hope you find the most perfect souvenir bucket to get your fill of snacking on your next visit! In the meantime, if you have any other questions as you plan your trip, come on back to
planDisney and let us know! We're popping with excitement to help you plan the perfect vacation!
See you real soon,
Alison
