Can Genie+ transfer if you park hop to another park? I plan to go to MK then HS late afternoon/evening.

Hey, howdy, hey, Margie! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with this question! Combining the phenomenal cosmic power of Genie+ with your Park Hopper ticket is a great way to experience more magic and less time waiting in line! Let's summon the Genie for all the details!

When you purchase Disney Genie+ Service, you will have the option to purchase for one park or for multiple parks (remember you can purchase this service starting at midnight for the day you intend to use it, and you can make your first selection at 7 AM EST). If you plan to park hop, you will want to purchase the Multiple Parks option in the My Disney Experience mobile app to ensure you will be able to make selections at more than one Theme Park!

In my own experience park hopping with Genie+, I also started my day at Magic Kingdom Park, hopped to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and then returned to Magic Kingdom for Happily Ever After fireworks. My strategy at 7 AM was to book an early return time in Magic Kingdom, so that as soon as I redeemed that selection, I would be eligible to make another choice. I repeated this process for several attractions and then started to stack return times at Hollywood Studios. By the time I left Magic Kingdom, I had near back-to-back windows for Toy Story Mania and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. One thing to keep in mind is that certain attractions are likely to sell out of return times, so if there is a popular attraction at Hollywood Studios that you really want to use Genie+ for, it might be a good idea to book it earlier in the day. Bonus tip - Slinky Dog Dash is usually one of the first ones to sell out!

Another thing to keep in mind is that you can also purchase two Individual Lightning Lane entries each day, and you can opt to join a Virtual Queue for certain attractions like TRON Lightcycle/Run in Magic Kingdom. If you are wanting to do either of these options, I would recommend trying for a Virtual Queue first (because they fill up so quickly), then selecting your first Genie+ attraction, and then purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes, if you choose.

Margie, I hope this helps you use Genie+ to its full potential as you unlock the magic of multiple parks during your visit! If you have any additional questions, feel free to come back and let me know! Just like Genie says, you've got a friend in me!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
