Ahoy There, Gene!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are thinking about using your Disney Vacation Club Points to sail off to the great wide somewhere. The flexibility of
Disney Vacation Club Membership offers so many benefits, and I am excited to tell you, Gene, that using your Vacation Points to book a Disney Experience is one of them!
Gene, you most certainly can use your Disney Vacation Club Points for a Disney Cruise Line Cruise. In fact, I just did this myself! To do this, the first thing I recommend is visiting the Disney Vacation Club website, scroll to "Destinations" on the menu bar and select
"Disney Cruise Line." Select
"View All Destinations" and under each cruise destination, you can see a blue link that says "View Points Chart." Here you can how many Vacation Points it would require depending on the sailing, your stateroom, and time of travel.
Once you are ready, you can call
Member Services. They will convert your Vacation Points into Reservation Points for you, check availability and make the booking. Please note that there is a
nonrefundable $95 transaction fee (subject to change) per stateroom booking. If you have any questions about using your Vacation Points for your Disney Cruise Line cruise, they will be able to help you maximize your Membership and make magic happen for you Gene!
I hope this helps you, Gene! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, sail back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.
