Hiya, Charles!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney. Charles, one of the things I love about our
Disney Vacation Club Membership is its flexibility. You can use your Vacation Points to create the vacations of your dreams, wherever you wander and wherever you roam! We have done this many times ourselves, and it's a great way to enjoy one of the uniquely themed Disney Resorts not in the DVC Resort Hotel collection.
Charles, you most certainly can use your Disney Vacation Club Points at any of the Disney Resort Hotels. One thing to note, however, is that when you use them for a non-DVC Resort, such as
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, or
Disney's All-Star Music Resort, the process is a bit different. To use your Vacation Points at these Resorts, I first recommend taking a look at the Vacation Point cost. This can be done by visiting the Disney Vacation Club website, visiting Destinations, and selecting
"Disney Resort Hotels Near & Far." Click on
"View All Resorts" and here you can peruse the list of Disney Resort Hotels and check out the Vacation Points cost to book at one of these locations. Be sure to click on the little blue link that says
"View All Points Charts" to see the rates for 2024 (or 2023 if you plan to book before the end of this year.)
Once you have decided which Resort you want to book, simply call
Member Services. They will be able to confirm availability, transfer your Vacation Points into Reservation Points, give you any guidelines about this conversion including cancellation policies, and book the hotel for you. It's that simple!
It's a great way to maximize your Membership, Charles. Disney Vacation Club sure makes affordable family vacations of your dreams possible, year after year, and this is just one of the many benefits of Membership.
I hope this helps you, Charles! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
