It’s always a delight when you stop by planDisney with your question for us, Janet!
Three chEARs! Your trip is so very nEAR! Soon, you’ll be trying Mickey-shaped snacks, experiencing incredible attractions, and all the magic of Walt Disney World Resort! I’m so giddy about your trip!
Janet, first and foremost, do be sure to check the
Operating Hours for theme parks. This will give you a good idea of when you should at least be at the gate by if you’re an early bird, like me. My fellow Panelist and dear friend
Sarah B. visited just last week and told me the entry varied and was determined by Cast Members. When she arrived at Magic Kingdom Park 45 minutes early, she noted Guests were held at the park entrance until the attractions opened.
Right now, there are lots of changes being made in preparation for
The World’s Most Magical Celebration. With that, coming later this year will be the
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resorts Collection Guests at the theme park. Because of the preparation of transitioning into a new system of opening, the timings of the theme parks opening up vary.
I definitely like getting to the theme parks first thing in the morning because the weather is cooler, and it is then that I’m able to get most of the popular rides out of the way before the crowds hit. Once lunchtime rolls around, I either like to make a dining reservation where I can sit and relax inside a nice and cool restaurant at the theme parks, or I’ll head back to my Disney Resorts Collection hotel midday for a nap or some pool time! Once I feel rejuvenated, it’s back to the theme parks I go!
Whenever you decide to get to the parks, one thing is for sure-- you’re going to have an enchanting time!
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Janet!
