Hi there, Alissa! Welcome to planDisney. I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoy visiting the parks during the holiday season! Every nook and cranny is filled with such festive joy that you can’t help but smile. The air is filled with the sweet scent of peppermint and gingerbread. There’s truly nothing better than Christmas at the parks.
Holidays at Disneyland are set to return on November 18! While we’re still several months away, the planning process is already underway. From this past holiday season, the official start date was November 14 and the last day was January 7. In hopes of a similar pattern, you should still be able to catch the
A Christmas Fantasy Parade and all the
festive decorations involved before they officially wrap up. I’d keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as they release more news on the holiday season in the months to come. The foodie guide is always my favorite post to look through!
Now if you’re a gingerbread connoisseur, I highly recommend popping into the Grand Californian for a gingerbread Mickey! You’ll be able to take in the views in the grand hall of their magnificent Christmas tree display. Over in the corner near Hearthstone Lounge, you’ll find a little setup for holiday treats for sale. I love getting my gingerbread Mickeys here because they’re packaged a little more sturdily than what you’d find in the parks. They’re also adorned with a sweet bow in case you want to buy extras for friends and family.
Alissa, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I know you’re going to have a festive time celebrating the holidays at the end of the year. If you have any more questions or need suggestions until then, planDisney is always here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
