Hello, we are planning a trip in June to WDW and staying at Shades of Green. I was wondering if Shades of Green guest get the waterpark entry on check in day perk?

    Hi Samantha!

Welcome to planDisney!  As my friend Princess Tiana would say, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting closer and closer every day!  I'm sure you are busy finalizing those last details as you prepare for a magical visit.

Samantha, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park both offer thrilling rides as well as relaxing vibes.  The free water park admission benefit is available to Guests on their check-in day while staying at an eligible hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection from May 26 through September 8, 2026.  Unfortunately, Shades of Green is not an eligible hotel as it is not part of the Disney Resorts Collection, but that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy a visit to the water parks this summer.  Water park tickets can be purchased separately or you can purchase theme park tickets with the Water Park and Sports Option or the Park Hopper Plus Option.

During your visit this summer, I hope you have a chance to check out some of the new shows and reimagined attractions.  I'm currently planning my own summer visit and can't wait to experience Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which opens on May 26!  As a toddler mom, I've also been anxiously awaiting the debut of the Bluey and Bingo at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! at Hollywood Studios.  My little one can't wait for the opportunity to see some of his favorite shows come to life!  As a Guest staying at Shades of Green, you can purchase any Lightning Lane Passes to help maximize your time in the parks starting 7 days before your check-in date for the length of your stay.  You'll also receive the benefit of Early Theme Park Entry during your vacation - giving you an extra 30 minutes in the parks each day of your stay!

I hope this information has been helpful, Samantha, and that you enjoy a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
