Can visitors to guests staying at the Ft Wilderness campgrounds use the pool?

    Hi Kerrie!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm so glad you stopped by as you plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days!

Kerrie, certain Disney Resort hotel amenities (such as pools) are intended for use only by registered Guests staying at the property, but you'll find so much that you can explore at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort when visiting with your friends or family who are staying there.  This resort offers many unique recreational activites that are available for anyone to enjoy, such as visiting the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, kayaking, fishing, and even an archery experience.  Plus, you'll find one of my favorite dinner shows here - Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!  During this meal, you'll be entertained by the talented (and hilarious) Pioneer Hall Players while enjoying an all-you-can-eat feast of fried chicken, cornbread, mac and cheese, and much more.

It's also important to remember that parking at resorts is intended for registered Guests and those with dining or activity reservations.  If you're planning to drive to Fort Wilderness, you may be asked to show confirmation of a reservation to enter the parking area.  To visit Fort Wilderness without a reservation, you can park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take the ferry or Walt Disney World Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park before catching a boat from there to Fort Wilderness.  Parking fees apply at the Transportation and Ticket Center, but registered Guests of any hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection and select Annual Passholders can take advantage of complimentary standard parking.  Alternatively, if you are staying at another Disney Resort hotel, you can use your available resort transportation to Magic Kingdom and then board the boat to Fort Wilderness.

I hope this information has been helpful, Kerrie, and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
    Kristi
