Planning a trip to Disney World around Christmas 2025. When will those rates be available? The other question that I have is we are a group of 7 adults and 3 kids. Would it be better to get a 3 bedroom villa or a 2 bedroom villa and one standard room?

Hiya, Noelia, and welcome to planDisney! It's a hot dog day here, and I'm so excited that you've stopped by with this great question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! A Christmastime visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like the very best way to spend the holidays!

Noelia, you and I both are eagerly awaiting an announcement about booking availability for the 2025 holiday season. At this time, as you are probably well aware, Guests can book as far out at October 31, 2025. While that feels far away right now, it will be here before we know it! I advise you to keep an eye on official Walt Disney World Resort social media accounts as well as the Disney Parks Blog for an official announcement about holiday bookings in 2025. As far as the type of room you should book, I can offer some advice based on my experience.

My family has stayed in a variety of Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms, and I can confidently say that a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa is just perfection. You'll have plenty of space to spread out and relax throughout your vacation. We typically stay in a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa when we have a party of ten or more people. With a full kitchen, huge living space, washer and dryer, dining space, plenty of thoughtful storage, and variety of sleeping areas, you'll have everything you need, and you'll enjoy being all together during your downtime.

If you choose to book a standard room and a 2-Bedroom Villa, you'll probably have more flexibility in resorts, since 3-Bedroom Villas are less common and can be highly sought-after in busier seasons. When we visit Walt Disney World Resort and stay in a 2-Bedoom Villa, we make sure to book at a Resort that has 2-Bedroom villas that include three full bathrooms, like Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. We find that having that third full bathroom is really helpful when getting ready for the day and keeping everyone organized and comfortable. We fully utilize the entire space and allow some of the kiddos to sleep on the pull-out sofa in the living room (which they love).

It's never too soon to start thinking about a potential itinerary for your visit - will you be hoping to attend an after-hours event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Disney Jollywood Nights? One of my favorite holiday events is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which takes place at EPCOT throughout the holiday season, and you don't need a special ticket (other than valid theme park admission) to access it! The Candlelight Processional is such a beautiful celebration of Christmas!

Noelia, I hope that we're able to get those holiday visits booked very soon! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue to plan your yuletide visit!

    See you real soon!
