Hiya, Gillian, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you're here today with this great question about your upcoming vacation! You must be getting so excited for your visit! I couldn't be happier that you'll be enjoying a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort during spooky season - it's one of my favorite times of year to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Gillian, I'm really happy that you're on top of these plans. You're right - visiting
Magic Kingdom Park on the same day that there is a scheduled
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will alter the hours that the park is available to Guests without party admission. On the day of a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Magic Kingdom Park closes at 6:00pm. Party Guests will begin to arrive as early as 4:00pm, and they'll be given a wristband to distinguish them. At 6:00pm, Guests without a wristband will be directed by Cast Members toward the exit. I've heard that Magic Kingdom Park can feel a little less crowded on days when there's an after-hours event scheduled, so we'll have to see if that feels right when you visit! If you want to avoid visiting Magic Kingdom on a party day, you can check the
calendar to ensure you choose a date when you will have a full day of access.
Did you know that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? Be sure to head over to EPCOT to experience the amazing seasonal offerings. Be sure to bring your appetite!
Gillian, I hope you have the very best time during your vacation! Please stop back by
planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue the exciting countdown to your visit! My Panelist pals and I are here and happy to help!
See you real soon!
