We are planning to stay at pop century and would like to know what the type of rooms are on the backside of Building 4 facing the water and Skyliner. What is the proper description of this location to use for booking and request.

    Hi Deborah!

Thanks for POPping by planDisney with your question!  Disney's Pop Century Resort is such a fun choice with bright colors, larger-than-life theming, and a wide variety of recreational activities. Let's chat a bit more about your room preference so you can get your vacation bibbidi-bobbidi-booked!

Deborah, rooms in Building 4 at Pop Century, are considered Preferred Rooms.  Preferred Rooms are located closer to the main building, pool, and resort transportation.  At the time of booking, you won't be able to request a specific building or room, but you'll want to be sure and choose a Preferred Room during the reservation process.  After making your reservation, you can then call a Cast Member at Tickets and Hotel Reservations to note your more specific request.  While requests cannot be guaranteed, Cast Members will do their best to accommodate when possible.

While the Disney Skyliner can whisk you away to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, it will also give you convenient access to some great dining at nearby resorts.  Character dining is always on our must-do list when visiting with the kids, and you'll find not only one, but two great choices just a quick Skyliner ride away.  Breakfast à la Art at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera inside Disney's Riviera Resort and Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe inside Disney's Beach Club Resort offer interactions with some of your favorite characters along with wonderful food.

planDisney Pro Tip - Both of these character dining experiences are located outside the theme parks, making them a perfect choice if you're planning a resort day!  As a reminder, advanced dining reservations are highly recommended for character dining.  They can be made starting 60 days before your check-in date for the entire length of your stay when you're a Guest at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection.

I hope this information has been helpful, Deborah, and I wish you the best as you start planning what I hope will be a Walt Disney World Resort vacation that is practically perfect in every way!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers!
