Planning on saying at Pop Century then moving hotels halfway to Polynesian. Will disney transfer our luggage so we can go to the park that morning and check in after or will we have to check out/in first?

Hello Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!

A split stay at two of my favorite resorts! You will be cool and groovy at Disney’s Pop Century Resort and laid back and in the island mood at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

Jennifer, I’m excited to tell you that your luggage will be safely transported from Pop Century to the Polynesian on your get away day of your split stay! All you need to do is take your bags down to the Bell Services desk at Pop Century on the day you are leaving and tell them you are making the move to the Polynesian resort for the rest of your magical adventure.  You will receive a claim ticket for your luggage that I recommend taking a picture of, so you have a backup copy just in case!  Once you arrive at the Polynesian after your exciting day in one of the theme parks or shopping at Disney Springs, your luggage will have safely arrived at your new home!  You can either stop by Bell Services at the Polynesian and pick up your luggage or give them a call from your room when you arrive, and they will gladly deliver your items directly to you as long as you are in your room!

Jennifer, a couple of quick tips for your split stay.  At Pop Century, make sure you take some time to walk or run along the jogging trail with all of its fun trivia signs along the way!  Plus, don’t forget to try a piece of Tie Dye-Cheesecake at Everything Pop Shopping and Dining. It’s neat and groovy and tastes amazing!

When you’re at the Polynesian, my daughters recommend the Pulled Pork Nachos at Capt. Cook's, while I am partial to the Pepperoni Flatbread followed by a Dole Whip from the Pineapple Lanai! So good!

Jennifer, you will have a magical adventure, and your luggage will be safe and sound!  Don’t forget to take the time to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
