Hi Rohini,
Welcome to planDisney! It feels like we just wrapped up the holidays, and it's hard to believe February is just around the corner. The year is already off to a magical start at the parks with so much to enjoy and so much more to come! I'm happy to hear you are considering the SoCal Resident Ticket Offer so that you can take advantage of all the pixie dust heading your way. Let's take a look at your question to make sure you are maximizing the magic.
With the
SoCal Resident Ticket, Guests are able to purchase a 3-day ticket which can be used between now and May 15th, 2025. While you will select specific days to visit during the check-out process, I'm happy to report that there is flexibility with your theme park reservations if you need to make changes down the line.
I always recommend taking a look at the
theme park reservation calendar before making any adjustments to ensure that there is availability on the new dates that you are looking to visit. This can all be done at your fingertips through the
Disneyland Mobile App. When you open the app, tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make A Park Reservation". From here, you can click the link for "Park Ticket Availability". The SoCal Resident tickets have their own reservation pool, and you will be able to toggle to that specific calendar. There is currently a lot of availability in the coming months, but of course that can change as we get closer to specific dates and especially as you get closer to the expiration date. If for some reason your date is not available, keep checking. Like yourself, Guests are always canceling and rescheduling reservations so sometimes they will open up!
What I love most about the SoCal Resident Ticket is that you can visit the parks on 3 non-consecutive days. Spreading out the magic over the next few months means you always have something to look forward to and can take advantage of some special festivals and offerings! Between now and May 15th, you can enjoy the
Lunar New Year Celebration (now through February 16), the
Food and Wine Festival (February 28 - April 21), and even the
Season of the Force (March 28 - May 11) for any Jedi fans in your party. The Disney Parks Blog will often drop a Foodie Guide specific to these special festivals, which is a great way to get excited and earmark a few must-try treats. If you are heading into the parks this weekend, be sure to check out the one for
Lunar New Year!
Rohini, I'm wishing you magic as you enjoy the next few months in the parks! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at
planDisney.
See ya real soon!
