Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you are here and that we can help you with your trip next year. In my opinion, Justin, it is never too early to begin planning a magical vacation. But I completely understand wanting to make sure that you get the best price for your vacation.
Justin, depending on your reservation type and the specific terms and conditions of your reservation, you may be able to modify it after you have booked it, if a new deal is announced that applies to your May trip dates. Now here is the caveat: deals are limited overall, and some deals are limited to certain Walt Disney World Resort hotels, room categories, and even select dates. So you have two options: you can wait until early next year and see if Walt Disney World has released
deals for Spring 2027. We typically see Spring offers release in Winter of the same year. The other option is to book your
Art of Animation Resort hotel room now and then, once offers drop, modify your reservation through
My Disney Experience or reach out to a Cast Member over the phone through
Tickets and Hotel Reservations and see if they can help you.

My advice is that if you are prepared to be flexible with your dates and resort hotel, then make your reservation now and then try to modify when the deals are announced.
