You have so much to look forward to when you visit Disney World—from relaxing at your Resort hotel to experiencing thrilling attractions (like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind) to watching the late-night fireworks to close out your magical day. Let’s jump right into how you can make a payment toward your vacation.
First things first, you can absolutely use a
Disney Gift Card to make payments on your Disney World Resort hotel stay. If you have a room-only reservation (not a vacation package with included theme parks tickets), you won’t see a “Make a Payment” option in your
My Disney Experience account. This is because the remainder of your balance isn’t due until you arrive. However, you can pay it off with your gift card by calling a friendly Cast Member via the
Hotel Reservations phone number.
If you have a full vacation package booking, you should be able to make a payment without calling. Log into your My Disney Experience account, scroll down to the “My Plans” section, and look for the reservation to which you’d like to make a payment. Near it, you should see the “Make a Payment” option. A vacation package balance is due at least 30 days before you arrive.
