Welcome to planDisney, AnaLee!
From the day we arrive on the planet, and blinking, step into the sun. There is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done. The same can be said about arriving at
Walt Disney World; there is just so much to see and do! So much magic to explore! I know you and your niece will have an unforgettable time together.
Festival of the Lion King is my favorite show in the Walt Disney World theme parks. You can’t help but be moved by the powerful songs from The Lion King sung by the extraordinarily talented performers. Be sure to check the showtimes for the Festival of the Lion King and arrive extra early. Seating is limited and is not guaranteed with park admission. You might find purchasing the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day you visit Animal Kingdom Park worthwhile, since the Festival of the Lion King is an attraction available as a
Multi Pass experience.
There are no official meet and greet opportunities for the Cast Members of the Festival of the Lion King. I recommend asking a Cast Member at the entry or exit of the Festival of the Lion King to request an autograph or a photo after the show with the performers. While I don’t know if they will be able to honor your request, it never hurts to ask! You can
meet Rafiki and Timon at Conservation Station, located in Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Be sure to check the
My Disney Experience mobile app for the times the meet and greet is available the day of your visit.
AnaLee, I hope you and your niece have a magical time at
Walt Disney World! If we can answer any more of your questions or help you with your vacation planning, please stop back by planDisney. We want you to have a vacation filled with no worries!
Hakuna Matata!
