I am visiting the four parks (without park hopper) between the 20th and 25th of January. Taking into account next week weather forecast and MLK weekend, which days should i visit the park? It is my fist time visiting Disneyworld.

    Hi Julia!

Welcome to planDisney! You've stopped by the perfect place to get answers for your upcoming Walt Disney World trip. With your arrival just a couple of days away, let's dive into your question and help you get set up for a magical Disney vacation.

I know a first visit to any destination can feel a bit overwhelming but with the proper planning, I'm sure you'll be ready to go. I did take a peek at the weather and although it seems to be a bit cooler than it normally is this time of year, you'll still have a fantastic time exploring the parks. I suggest wearing multiple layers and bringing ponchos or umbrellas to be prepared for any conditions.

To answer your question, there is no right or wrong answer to what park you should visit each day. It's tough to predict the crowd levels, especially which park will be busier on a certain day. The Magic Kingdom does tend to be the most popular park, so it might make sense to skip it on Monday, since that may be the busiest day of your stay due to the holiday. It seems like there is a chance of rain each day at the current forecast displays, but that can easily change at the drop of a hat. I wouldn't let that affect your decision.

While most Guests enjoy beginning their vacation at the Magic Kingdom and getting a glimpse of Cinderella Castle, I've made it my last stop on a few trips. There was something magical about spending a full day at the Magic Kingdom and the lasting memory being fireworks over the castle before heading home.

If you have a four-day park ticket, it seems like you have a day mixed in that you will not be visiting the parks. I would keep an eye on the weather forecast and if there is a day that looks like a washout, I would make that your rest day. While you can navigate the parks through the rain, it does make it easier to not have to do so. On a trip a few years back, we changed our plans at the last minute when we woke up and realized it was going to downpour all day. We switched our Animal Kingdom Theme Park day to the end of our trip and enjoyed the amenities at our Disney Resorts hotel on a rainy day.

Julia, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay. You will not go wrong in any order you decide to visit the parks, so keep an eye on the weather and have a fantastic time. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway beginning today and they have brought back the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series. I suggest taking a look at the performers and seeing if there is anyone in particular you want to see. This may help decide which day you visit EPCOT.

    See ya real soon!
    Greg
