Hi Olivia,
Welcome to planDisney! And congratulations on your upcoming wedding and your magical Walt Disney World honeymoon.
Reservations for dining at Walt Disney World open at approximately 6 am Eastern time 60 days in advance. So you are correct that you can start making those reservations at 5 am Central time. Landing the dining experience you crave is worth a pre-dawn alarm clock, right?
And, if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, that's the point where you will be able to
make reservations for entire stay, up to a 10-day visit.
Generally, reservations for
Enchanting Extras also open at the same time. Dining reservations are pretty consistent in their availability at the appointed time, but some extras may not be available until a few hours or even a few days later. In that case, it's good to keep checking back regularly.
A
fireworks cruise at Magic Kingdom or Epcot is one of my favorite Enchanting Extras, and it sounds romantic for newlyweds. Or maybe a couples massage at the
Grand Floridian Spa? Or
Keys to the Kingdom is a great way to nerd out on Disney history at Magic Kingdom.
And make sure you visit a Guest Relations location for free Celebration buttons so that cast members and other guests can wish you well and maybe even sprinkle you with some pixie dust throughout your honeymoon.
Whatever meals you reserve or extras you book, Olivia, I'm sure you will make amazing memories as you start your life together. Please let us know if you want any other suggestions or tips for your honeymoon as the time nears.
Enjoy every magical moment of your vacation and your marriage,
Wilma
