I can't think of a better place to celebrate a milestone birthday than Walt Disney World, and it sounds like you're assembling quite a birthday crew to help usher in a new decade for the honoree. I'm happy to help you sort through your options.
Since you've already narrowed down your preferences to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney's Wilderness Lodge and you're most interested in a 3 bedroom villa as your type of room, you'll want to search for
The Villa's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Both of these have 3 bedroom villas as accommodation options. I know you asked about cabins as well, so I do want to let you know that the cabins only have 2 bedrooms that will accommodate up to 8 Guests. If that will meet your needs, scroll for that accommodation type, too, for Copper Creek.
First, you'll go to the
Walt Disney World website, head up to the top under "Places to Stay," then click on
"Explore Disney Resort Hotels." There will be a place to put in the dates you're looking for and the number of Guests. You'll want to use the filters to narrow down your options. Since both of these resorts are in the Magic Kingdom area, you'll choose that as your resort location and then choose Deluxe Villas as your resort category. Then, you'll check Grand Floridian and Copper Creek individually to see what's available. You'll be able to see each room category, and you'll probably have to scroll down a bit until you get to the 3 bedroom villas. If there's a price showing, that means the room is available for the dates you've selected, and you can go ahead and book it right then and there. If it's not available, there will be a place to click to modify your search. You can keep playing around with dates until you find what you need.
If you're having trouble finding availability for your dates and you're willing to expand your search, 3 bedroom villas are also found at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort (in the Magic Kingdom area as well),
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village,
Disney's BoardWalk Villas,
Disney's Old Key West Resort,
Disney's Riviera Resort and
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Hopefully, out of these options, you'll find something to accommodate your group. If not, keep checking back in case someone's plans change, freeing up rooms for you.
