Hi Fred! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Yes, you can absolutely purchase a 1-Day ticket either
online, which is very convenient and avoids any potential lines that could eat into your fun park day, or in person at the main ticket booths in the Esplanade. Credit, debit, and Disney Gift cards are all accepted methods of payment. Prices and terms are subject to change.
I would caution about waiting until you arrive to purchase, however. It is always possible for theme park reservations to fill up either for a park or the day. I checked on your preferred park day, and currently, only one park is
available for reservations. This can change quickly, as people make their reservations. It would be very disappointing to arrive and not be able to enter either of the parks. I suggest purchasing the 1-Day ticket in advance online if you know you'd like to visit that day.
You'll be asked to select between a One Park Per Day and a
Park Hopper ticket when making your ticket option selections. With One Park Per Day, you visit one park. Since only one park is available at this time, you won't be able to select the other park to confirm a reservation. With Park Hopper, however, you start your day in one park and can hop to the other park later. You don't need a reservation for the second park, so that's one way to experience the park without theme park reservation availability. This is a great option, especially for a 1-Day visit.
We always select Park Hopper and Genie+, soon-to-be
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, for our short visits. It maximizes the fun when we don't have the luxury of several days. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows Guests to spend less time in queues. Spend that time enjoying all the other magical things the parks have to offer from dazzling Entertainment to Parades and Fireworks.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
