Hi there, Alejandro!
Welcome to planDisney. I am glad you sent your questions to us! As someone who frequently visits both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, I understand how tricky it can be to figure out the similarities and differences in how each resort operates.
You are correct that theme park reservations are not needed for most park tickets at Walt Disney World Resort. However, valid theme park tickets and
theme park reservations are still needed to enter a Disneyland Resort theme park. Theme park reservations are typically made as Guests purchase their theme park tickets. You can see if you already have theme park reservations by logging into your MyDisney account on the
Disneyland Resort website. Scroll over "My Disneyland" at the top of the page and select "Theme Park Reservations". If you do not have theme park reservations yet, connect your tickets to your account under "My Disneyland" and "Link Tickets and Passes". You can make park reservations after that is completed.
You will arrive at Disneyland Resort just in time for
Pixar Fest! It is happening through August 4, 2024, and features many fun events. Some of my favorite experiences include
Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular,
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!, and the
Pixar Pals Playtime Party. Check out the
Pixar Fest Foodie Guide to see what snacks you cannot miss, like the delicious Pixar Fest Cake from Plaza Inn. It includes layers of yellow, blue, and red vanilla sponge cake that is topped with cream cheese frosting and a chocolate Pixar Ball decoration. It is so good!
Alejandro, thank you again for contacting planDisney! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
