Hi there David,
Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by with your question and I'm happy to hear you're already hard at work in planning your next trip to the Happiest Place on Earth during the Halloween season.
I love visiting the Disneyland Resort with larger groups - it's a whole different way to experience the parks. It sounds like you might be the main planner, which is something I'm also very familiar with. My recommendation would be to make sure you're logged in to your MyDisney account and book the logistics (
hotel,
park tickets, and
park reservations for each day of your visit) through the
Disneyland Resort website. I like to use the "Build Your Vacation" tool at the top of the home page.
Once you've done this, you should be good to go in terms of strictly logistics for your trip. However, if others in your group want access to their tickets then it's quick and easy to share with them when they use the
Disneyland app. While in the app, they'll want to select the menu button (the three horizontal lines) then "My Tickets and Passes." From here, the members of your group will select the blue plus button in the top right of the screen and select "Link Tickets & Passes." They can either scan the ticket barcodes or manually type the ticket ID and then they'll be able to see their ticket information in the app.
After the tickets are linked, if you all decide to purchase the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass then anyone with linked tickets will be able to make or manage Lightning Lane selections while you're in the parks during your trip. It adds quite a bit of convenience and helps to ensure you don't have to be the one to manage that for your whole group!
Thanks again for your question, David. I hope you have fun planning your trip! Feel free to stop by with any follow questions you think of - we're happy to help.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
