You can absolutely purchase the ticket first and then link the ticket to your party. Once you complete the additional ticket purchase, you’ll receive a ticket ID, which you can then link in the Disneyland app. After it’s linked, you can assign the ticket to your existing party so everyone is connected in one group for the day at California Adventure. This is a great way to keep everyone together for planning your day, viewing park reservations, and making it easier to coordinate plans as a group.
To do this, open the
Disneyland app, go to the “My Tickets and Passes” section after you tapped the (≡) button on the bottom. You’ll then tap “Link Tickets and Passes” on the top right corner in order to link the new ticket using the ticket ID. Once it appears in your account, you can assign it to your party so all Guests are connected and ready for the day.
Once everyone is linked, you’ll be able to easily coordinate
reservations or
Lightning Lane selections together, which makes it much simpler to enjoy attractions as a group. Lightning Lane is a great way to speed through those standby lanes in little to no time which allows your party to ride as many attractions as you can throughout your day.
