    I am planning a 21st birthday trip for my daughter this summer. I want to make a reservation but am unsure if there will be 2 or 3 of us. How easy is it to update or change the reservation?

    Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your reservation question! But before we begin—a very merry un-birthday to you and the happiest of birthdays to your daughter!  Turning 21 at Disney World? Now that’s a celebration straight out of Wonderland!

    Now, let’s not be late for this very important date— and dive right into your dining reservation question! I highly recommend booking for three guests rather than two. It’s much easier to shrink a reservation than to grow it! If you need to modify it, the process is very easy. Simply hop over to the My Disney Experience App:

    • Tap the ☰ icon (bottom right)
    • Select Future Plans
    • Choose your Dining Reservation
    • Click Modify to adjust your party size
    Since it’s your daughter’s very special day, consider adding a Mickey Celebration Cake to your meal at participating restaurants—because what’s a birthday without cake? Last, don’t forget to stop by Guest Services or your resort’s front desk to pick up a birthday button—so Cast Members (and maybe even a few fellow characters) can shower her with birthday wishes all day long!
