Ahoy, Angela! Welcome to
planDisney. Sailing the seas on a
Disney Cruise Line ship sounds like magic to me. It’s only been a few months since my last sailing, and I’m ready to start planning for another! I’m so excited for you, and I love that you’re already planning the details over a year out.
The last call for most Disney Cruise Line sailings is 3:45 pm, with the earliest Port Arrival Time around 11:00 am. Be sure that you complete the Online Check-in before arriving to ensure a smooth process, and double-check that you have all the appropriate documents with you. The Guest Onboard Time listed on your confirmation document is very important, as you may not be allowed to board if you arrive after that.
Angela, getting a late boarding time so you can fly to Vancouver that day, would work, though I’d be concerned that a delayed or cancelled flight could unravel all your plans. Consider scheduling your flight for the day before your sailing and booking a room at a hotel near the port. This will ensure that you make it onto the ship before the last call and will allow you to relax and enjoy the ship a little earlier. It’s a great feeling to get settled into your stateroom, explore the ship a bit, and then head to the upper pool deck for the Sail Away Party.
Don’t forget to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before you sail away. When you board your ship and link to the ship's Wi-Fi, you will have access to all of the planned shows and activities. You can scroll through all activities and mark the ones you are interested in. Those activities will show up in your “My Plans" tab, so you can keep track of what activity is next and where it takes place.
Angela, I hope you have a wonderful cruise and all your travel plans work out perfectly. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to bring them to us at
planDisney!
I hope you have a magical day.
Corey
