Hi Marco,
Welcome to planDisney!
Let's first celebrate the fact that you have an upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort! The
Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom are simply gorgeous. My girls and I always make a plan to see them at least one evening during every trip. We are about to go in a few days and the showtime is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. Although the showtimes are not yet listed for the day of your arrival, the calendar goes as far out as August 10th and the
time scheduled is 9:00 p.m. If your arrival date was a little further into fall, the showtime might be earlier, but given your date, it could be the same time as the August 10th date. Just keep an eye on the calendar.
As you consider your fireworks viewing strategy, I suggest that you start looking for a viewing area at least an hour prior to the show. We always find a spot to the left (facing
Cinderella Castle) and up towards the front. I started getting this spot when the girls were much younger. We would stand in the front of an area taped off by cast members and the shorter of my girls loved it because there was nobody else standing in front of her. Once you find a good spot, be sure to stay there until the show starts. And, have a park exit plan - what will you do when the fireworks show is over? Depending on park closing time, we like to go ride another ride before heading out so that we can avoid that rush to the exit just as the park is closing.
Marco, I wish I had a definitive answer for you. But I am hoping this will be enough info to start planning and then, once the park hours for your dates are released, the actual showtimes will be released and you can make more specific plans. Sending you a little planning pixie dust trusting that those showtimes will be released soon!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
