Hi, Ashton!
From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney. Having a Walt Disney World annual pass is one of the best investments that I’ve ever made. I love being able to tap into the magic almost whenever I’d like. Ashton, I’ll share what I know about your existing theme park ticket.
From my experience, when you call the
Annual Passholder Support hotline to add a new annual pass, you won’t be able to sign up for the Florida resident Monthly Payment Plan. You’ll have to purchase it in full. So, this is something that you should do in person or online if you want to sign up for the Monthly Payment Plan. What makes this tricky is that it’s an existing ticket upgrade. I recommend that you speak to a Cast Member at a Guest Relations location on property (including the Disney Ticket Center at
Disney Springs) or call the Annual Passholder Support hotline.
You’ll need to prove your Florida residency to be eligible for resident-only
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts. If you don’t have a Florida-issued ID card, you will need to bring another form of photo identification with you. Be prepared to show one of the following current (within 2 months) items that have your physical address on it as well:
-Mortgage payment
-Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
-Automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
-Utility bill (power, water, cable, or phone)
-Mail from financial institutions (like a bank) or government agencies
AN EXTRA GEM: A single-day theme park ticket can be upgraded up to the same day that you used it. A multi-day ticket can be upgraded until the last day of the ticket’s use. This is very important because you can’t upgrade your ticket if there is no longer any value on it.
I hope that this helps, Ashton. If you have additional questions,
revisit us here at planDisney. Any one of us would be more than happy to help.
Magic always,
LeAndra
