Can I plan a trip one year in advance?

How ya doin', Natalie, and welcome to planDisney!

Planning a Disney vacation a year in advance is actually the advice that I give folks all the time. Taking up that time leaves you so much room to make adjustments and plot out every step of your trip until it's exactly what you've been dreaming about. Great news, my friend. The booking window for May 2027 is open right now, so let's get to work!

On the Walt Disney World website homepage, there's a handy little Build Your Vacation tool that allows you to choose your dates, add information about your travel party, and choose your Disney Resort Collection hotel if you know which one you'd like. From there, you'll be able to view room rates and follow all prompts to add tickets as well to create the perfect Vacation Package.

Pro-tip: If you're not sure which hotel will suit your family or budget, set the toggle to All Resort Hotels. You'll get a list of available resorts and change the setting to sort them from the lowest price value option to the highest price deluxe option.

Natalie, I'm so excited that you're starting to plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. As the Fairy Godmother says, even miracles take a little time. If you need any more guidance on how to make this a trip you won't forget, come back and see us. We're happy to help!

    Happy planning!
