I would like to plan a trip for next christmas for my family of seven. I would like to be there on the 24th and leave and 26th.

Welcome to planDisney Taniesha! Thanks for reaching out with your great question. How wonderful that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You’re sure to create some amazing memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

The holidays is my absolute favorite time to visit Walt Disney World! My first step in booking any Disney vacation is accommodations. Book a resort early, as Christmas is one of the busiest times at Disney. My recommendations for larger groups include Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (Family Suites) as it is a budget friendly resort with room for 6, plus additional options for a 7th guest, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort (Family Suites), The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort as it offers a cozy holiday feel with space for larger families and Deluxe Villas (e.g., Bay Lake Tower, Copper Creek Villas): Great for convenience and extra amenities.

Next, I'd suggest coming up with park plans. With two full days and one partial day, my suggested schedule would be to arrive on December 24th then head straight to Magic Kingdom Park. Enjoy the Christmas decorations, parades, and festive atmosphere. On December 25th, head to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. Spend Christmas Day exploring EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays or Hollywood Studios holiday themed shows and décor. On December 26th, if you have time, head to Animal Kingdom before your departure. End your trip with a relaxing morning at Animal Kingdom. Enjoy Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and the holiday themed Tree of Life Awakenings.

Once we've secured our resort and figured out our park days, my family and I will next think about our dining reservations. Book dining reservations 60 days in advance for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals. Options include Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom) or Liberty Tree Tavern for a festive feast on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day - Le Cellier (EPCOT) or The Hollywood Brown Derby (Hollywood Studios).

Quick tip - Use the Lightning Lane Passes for must do attractions across parks.

Taniesha, your visit promises to be a magical adventure for you and your family! Enjoy the moments of joy, wonder, and togetherness as your family explores The Most Magical Place on Earth during The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Let me know if you need help with booking reservations or adding any magical touches!
