Season's greetings, Danielle!
Welcome back to planDisney. We're happy you've returned with another fabulously festive
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question!
Oh boy... it sounds like you're planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year. This year, the
holiday season runs from November 11 to December 31, 2023, so you'll have the opportunity to experience many of the Walt Disney World Resort's splendid seasonal offerings!
Danielle, I'm happy to share a few of my very merriest must-dos available at The Most Magical Place on Earth in late December. This year's
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will take place through December 30, 2023. During that time, you'll have the opportunity to taste scrumptious seasonal sips and snacks at
Holiday Kitchens around World Showcase and experience the moving
Candlelight Processional. At EPCOT, you'll also be among the first Guests to view
Luminous: The Symphony of Us, the new nighttime spectacular premiering in early December!
During your wonder-filled wintertime visit, the halls will also be decked at Magic Kingdom Park, Danielle. Don't miss out on
Jingle Cruise, a fun festive overlay of the popular Adventureland attraction! (I highly recommend riding after dark for an extra merry experience!) Unfortunately,
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade can typically only be viewed during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and these events end on December 22, 2023. However, according to the
Hours & Events Calendar, the Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks show will be displayed on December 30-31, 2023. I encourage you to view this limited-time New Year's Eve fireworks show at least once during your visit, as it's only offered a couple of nights each year!
Danielle, I ho-ho-hope this information helps you to prepare for a holly jolly Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have any additional planning questions, you're always welcome to revisit us at
planDisney! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Happy holidays,
Lauren
