Hi Michelle,
Thanks for jingling all the way over to planDisney with this question. I'm happy to help! The dust has barely settled from Halloween but like many others, I'm already thinking ahead to the holidays. My family celebrated the season at Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago, and I can tell you firsthand that Christmas morning on Main Street, U.S.A. is truly the most wonderful time of the year!
It's safe to say the holiday cheer is arriving bit by bit and there is even more merriment in store in the coming weeks when
the holidays officially kick off on November 11th. My friend and
fellow panelist Amy A. was on-site at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa the past few days and has been sharing pictures and videos of the life-size gingerbread house currently being constructed in the lobby. I loved it last year and can't wait to see it again in person in just a few weeks!
Now while
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park are separately ticketed events only offered on select dates through December 20th and December 22nd respectively, the holiday excitement won't end when these special offerings do. The halls will be fully decked by the time you arrive for your magical vacation and the parks and resorts will all be
brimming with holiday cheer through the end of the year!
EPCOT International Festival of Holidays will dazzle guests through December 30th, and the season will be merry and bright in the rest of the parks too. You'll be delighted by Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park
scheduled nightly during your travel dates, and will love dashing past the backside of water on
Jingle Cruise. Say hello to your favorite Toy Story pals dressed in their holiday finest at Disney's Hollywood Studios and enjoy
Sunset Seasons Greetings on the iconic Hollywood Tower Hotel. Trees, wreaths, and all the festive trimmings will adorn each park and gingerbread displays will enchant guests at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels as well. There's even some merry fun in store for guests at
Disney Springs! Rest assured you'll be feeling jolly throughout your stay.
Michelle, if we can answer any additional questions or offer personalized recommendations for your visit please hitch a sleigh ride back and let us know.
Wishing you a merry and magical holiday season,
Amy
