Magic Kingdom is still open, I would absolutely recommend hopping on the Resort Monorail over to the park and enjoying a few more magical moments before heading back to
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. There is something so special about strolling down Main Street, after the fireworks, when the crowds begin to thin. When you're ready to head back to your resort, you can take the bus from Magic Kingdom to Port Orleans Riverside.
If you'd rather head back a little more directly after your cruise, a
Minnie Van, powered by Lyft, is another fantastic option. My family loves Minnie Vans because friendly Disney Cast Members drive them. Traditional rideshare services are also available if you prefer.
A Cast Member will typically call about 24 hours before your cruise to go over the details and will typically ask if you are celebrating anything. If you are celebrating, let them know, and they can add a special celebration banner to the back of the boat, which was so fun!
