Hi Jill!
I’m so glad to see you back here at planDisney!
I’m happy to let you know that…yes! You can purchase
Lightning Lane Premier Pass and
Lightning Lane Single Pass on the same day (pending availability).
Your booking window for both of those services will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date if you’re
staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket (if it’s a date-based ticket).
I recommend booking your Lightning Lane Single Pass for
TRON first, then purchasing Lightning Lane Premier Pass for that day. That way, you get a better chance at snagging the return time you’re hoping for when it comes to that Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Since you’re planning to ride twice, maybe you can ride once during the day and once at night to see which one is better! My personal opinion: riding at night is the way to go!
As you’re enjoying your day at Magic Kingdom with short attraction wait times since you’ll be bypassing all of those standby queues, don’t miss out on some of the extra experiences around the park. I just love listening to Casey Corner’s Pianist and The Dapper Dans. You can find all of their
performance times online or on the My Disney Experience app.
It truly sounds like you have a magical day ahead of you! Enjoy every second!
