Places to eat gluten-free on the dining plan for June

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Becky!

Welcome to planDisney, we’re so glad you’re here. I’m Shantel and I will be more than happy to help you feast your way through Walt Disney World Resort.

You will be excited to hear that Disney World does an incredible job of accommodating dietary needs. My son has a dairy allergy and he gets to enjoy just as much as we do when we visit. To be honest, after having some of his dairy-free ice cream from Beaches & Cream, I think I like the dairy-free option more. Hakuna Matata means, don’t worry, there will be plenty of options for you to enjoy.

Becky, I recommend taking a look at all the available dining locations and opening their online menus. If you continue to scroll down the menu, you will find the heading “Gluten/Wheat Allergy-Friendly”. Below that heading will be all of the meal options available that fit your dietary needs at that dining location. I’ve included one of my favorite Quick-Service restaurants so that you can see exactly what I’m talking about. For Table-Service restaurants, I have found that letting your server know that there is an allergy at the table will allow them to provide you with an allergy-friendly menu and the opportunity to speak to the chef directly. Honestly, dining at Disney with an allergy is probably the easiest place we’ve dined with my son, so I’m confident that your experience will run just as smoothly.

Becky, I hope this helps guide your hunt for the perfect gluten-friendly meals. If you need any dining recommendations or are looking for a specific treat, we’re more than happy to further help!

    Bon Appetit,

    Shantel

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
