what places, if any, are dog friendly places to stay?

    Hello Lori, welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question here today, I’m happy to assist. Isn’t it true how a dog becomes an important family member? Walt Disney World Resort is home to four dog-friendly resorts so let’s dig in!

The following resorts welcome well-behaved dogs that are up to date on vaccinations:

Each of these hotels offers rooms that have easy access to designated outdoor walkways so your dog can exercise and use the designated pet relief areas around the resort grounds. When you arrive, your dog will have a complimentary Pluto’s Welcome Kit waiting for them. I love that they are special Guests too!

Be sure to review the current pet policies when considering a stay with your dog at Walt Disney World resort. Please note that there is an additional fee per dog per night and a maximum of two dogs per room.

If during the day you would like to consider boarding your dog, check out Best Friend Pet Hotel. It is located right on site and offers daytime and overnight boarding options. While my dog hasn’t yet visited Walt Disney World Resort, my friends have used Best Friend Pet Hotel and their pup enjoyed socializing with new friends while her family enjoyed time at the theme parks.

Lori, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. Please visit us at planDisney if you have any more questions. We are happy to help!

You’ve got a friend in me,
