Ahoy there, Deanna!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I love that you took advantage of the
Onboard Booking Offer on your last Disney cruise—it’s like keeping a little pixie dust in your pocket for a future adventure on the high seas! Now, let’s set our course for all the details on using that placeholder for your next magical voyage.
First things first—give
Disney Cruise Line a call! Since placeholders can’t be booked online, a friendly Cast Member will be your navigator in making sure everything goes off without a hitch (or a hitchhiking ghost!).
Now, here’s the great news: yes, you can use your placeholder on a cruise that has already passed its paid-in-full date! Your 10% discount still applies as long as your selected cruise isn't on the blockout list, you’re booking a
stateroom in Categories 4A to 11C—Concierge-level rooms and suites, as well as restricted categories like VGT, OGT, or IGT, are not eligible, and you’re within 24 months of when you originally booked your placeholder (or it will automatically cancel).
Since your chosen sailing is already past the paid-in-full date, you’ll need to pay the entire cruise fare upfront at the time of booking. Because of this, I highly recommend reviewing the
Booking Terms and Conditions to be sure you’re comfortable with the cancellation policies before committing. While we’d all love a magic wand to bibbidi-bobbidi-boo our way out of last-minute changes, it’s always good to plan ahead—just in case life throws in a plot twist worthy of a Disney movie!
Using a placeholder is one of the best ways to save on your next Disney cruise, and I love that you’re making the most of it! Whether you're dreaming of
Castaway Cay’s sun-kissed beaches, a Marvel Day at Sea, or a grand adventure through Alaska, I hope your next cruise is filled with magic, memories, and maybe even a Mickey ice cream bar (or three).
Sea ya real soon with love in the air and magic everywhere,
Dustin
