Is the Pixar place hotel pool going to be closed for refurbishment January 9th and 10th?

    Hi there, Stephanie.

Thank you so much for bringing your question to planDisney. I hope 2025 is off to a magical start for you. And I see you will be heading to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few days, so it seems this new year is going wonderfully already!

I love the perfectly themed Pixar Place Hotel! As of this writing, there is no planned closure for refurbishment to the Pixar Place Hotel pools during your upcoming stay (arrival date of January 9, 2025). The only planned closure for pool deck refurbishment will begin next month on February 3, 2025. However, this is subject to change in case any unplanned maintenance work needs to occur during your stay, so please check with Cast Members at the Pixar Place Hotel upon arrival.

As a hotel guests, there are plenty of perks in store! On select nights, you can view the Disneyland Park fireworks from the pool deck as a synchronized soundtrack is broadcasted live! Additionally, I enjoy the special entrance to Disney California Adventure Park while staying at the Pixar Place Hotel.

You are bound to create lasting core memories during your upcoming trip! If you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us on planDisney again.

    Wishing you a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
