Ahoy there, Brittany, and welcome to planDisney! It looks like you and your pirate crew will be sailing on the
Disney Magic in just a couple of months, so I’m here to help you get ready for all the festive fun you can have on the high seas!
While entertainment is subject to change, you can expect to enjoy
Pirate Night with your fellow scalawags on the Tuesday night of your cruise. Not only will you find many of your Disney pals outfitted in their finest pirate garb, a lot of Guests choose to dress up as well. (Of course, it’s up to you if you opt to dress like Jack Sparrow and his mates or take a more Davy Jones approach to the night). On my last pirate night, I paired a white shirt and corset with black pants and red shoes (that also worked into a Captain Minnie Disneybound outfit I planned). And every guest also receives a bandana in their stateroom before dinner, so feel free to incorporate that into your attire as well.
Speaking of transforming for the night, I noticed you also asked about your
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation. I’m happy to report that yes, you can also book a Pirates League Package on the Pirate Party night. Regardless of whether your little one (ages 3 and up) chooses to be a Pirate or a Princess for the evening, they’ll have a wide array of options to choose from. In fact, even adults can book a Pirate makeover that day!
Our family also likes to bring along some extra pixie dust to pass out before fireworks, like glow sticks or bracelets. This adds to the family fun, especially when dancing the night away under the stars during the deck party.
Now that you’re ready for all the swashbuckling adventures at sea, I hope you’re even more excited about your trip, Brittany. If you think of any other questions before your adventure, I hope you’ll sail back to us here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
