How many people are in a group queue. So if you are group 100. How long does it take to get to 100

    Welcome to planDisney, Andy!

I'm excited to hear that you'll be visiting Disney World and joining virtual queues for rides! WOOHOO! My current favorite ride with a virtual queue is Guardians of the Galaxy in EPCOT. I cannot get over how incredible this ride is -- the more I ride it, the more I love it!

Because attraction capacities vary, there is not an exact number of Guests per boarding group; however, we typically see about 10-15 boarding groups called per hour for attractions utilizing a virtual queue. Now, this pace can vary greatly depending on weather, ride maintenance, and temporary closures, so the best way to keep track of your spot in a virtual queue is to watch your "My Queues" section on the My Disney Experience Mobile App

I would recommend heading to the entrance of your attraction's queue when you're about 5 boarding groups from being called so you can enter the standby queue right when your group is called. This practice will usually set you up for a shorter physical wait.

While you're waiting in line, check your My Disney Experience Mobile App for nearby dining locations that offer Mobile Ordering. Placing an order for a meal or snack while you're waiting in line makes the time go by much faster.

If you have any additional questions before you journey to Disney World, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney! We're just a dream away!
