Ahoy, Dianne!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question about your
Alaskan voyage this month! As a seasoned
Castaway Club member, I know you can't wait to be back onboard making more magical memories on the
Disney Wonder in Alaska. This is one of my favorite itineraries because you never know what you might see or experience on the ship or during your
Port Adventures. I hope you have your waterproof layers and binoculars
packed and ready to go!
Dianne, I have been in your boat, having booked a GTY (Guarantee) stateroom. I enjoy saving on the cruise fare, so I have more money to spend on board and when venturing ashore. I know you are eager to learn your stateroom assignment, but it may not be assigned until a few days before your embarkation day. My fingers are crossed that it will be sooner because I know how hard the waiting game can be. The good news is you will be given a
stateroom in the category you selected or higher. So in the meantime, keep checking your reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website for the number to magically appear. Once you know, you can label your luggage tags for your bags before giving them to the porters at the
Canada Place Cruise Terminal.
An adventurous vacation is on the horizon, Dianne. Breathtaking scenery, majestic wildlife, and quaint ports of call await your crew in our 49th state. If you want to soak in as much as you can about The Last Frontier, be sure to attend the Naturalist talks onboard. Disney Cruise Line has one on every Alaskan sailing to share as much as possible about this magnificent itinerary. Be sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the times.
If you have any other last-minute questions, we hope you'll keep us in mind, Dianne. Here's hoping you'll know your stateroom number real soon.
