Are the payment plans for the magic keys only available for California residents?

    Hello, Angelica!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney to ask your question about Disneyland Resort Magic Key passes. Becoming a Magic Key holder is a great way to enjoy a year filled with magical theme park adventures, and sales of new passes resumed today!

Yes, the monthly payment plan option is currently only available to California residents with a valid government-issued ID. Residents of other states who wish to purchase a pass must pay in full upfront. You can pay with a Disney Gift Card, a credit/debit card, or a combination of the two. If you’ll be purchasing multiple Disney Gift Cards to apply to your balance, be sure to combine them onto just one card in advance online via to streamline the payment process. Registering your gift cards online is also a smart way to protect your money in case a physical card is ever misplaced because you’ll be able to transfer the funds to a different card.

I hope this information helps, Angelica, and that you’re able to enjoy lots of perfectly pixie-dusted theme park visits with your Magic Key in 2024! Please write back with any other questions you may have as your next trip to the Happiest Place on Earth draws near.

    Wishing you magic,
