Welcome to planDisney, Leslie!
We're so glad you decided to visit our magical corner of the internet. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few short days away, and I'm happy to help you get all those final details neat and pretty ahead of your arrival.
Room and ticket packages must be paid in full 30 days before check-in, while
room-only reservations are charged a deposit for the first night upon booking, with the final balance due at check-in. It sounds like you may have booked a room-only reservation, and if so, you'll need to present a card when you arrive. While
PayPal is an accepted form of payment during the initial booking process, a credit or debit card is
required for the final balance, as my pal Lauren confirmed for another guest. I reached out to a Cast Member for further clarification, and they confirmed that PayPal cannot be used at the resort.
During the check-in process, your card will be charged the remaining balance of your room fees, and
an additional hold will be placed for incidentals, including any MagicBand charges made during your stay. You can get a jump start on this by completing the
online check-in and linking your preferred card to your account before your arrival.
I'm sorry I didn't have a different answer for you today, but I'm still wishing you a magical visit! Feel free to come back and see us again with more planning questions or
reach out to a Cast Member by phone for assistance with your reservations, payments, and more.
Magic and memories,
Amy
