Hey there, hi there, Ruth! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I am so excited to see that the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort has called you, and you answered the call by planning a pixie-dusted adventure. I can't imagine a more magical way to kick off the new year than with a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I know you must be getting
so excited! Now, let's get your loose planning ends tied up so you can sit back, relax and start your countdown to the fun.
If you have booked a Walt Disney World vacation package that includes your
Disney Resort hotel room and your
Theme Park Tickets, your total balance is due at least 30 days before your arrival date. After booking with your deposit, you can choose to make payments on your vacation as you'd like, and you can absolutely pay the balance in full before it is due. However, doing so will not offer any additional discounts.
But Hakuna Matata, Ruth! It means "no worries." I'd love to share one of my favorite ways to save money when paying off my Walt Disney World vacation packages. I purchase discounted Disney Gift Cards from my local retailer who offers them (it is Sam's Club in my neck of the woods). Then, I use the discounted Disney Gift Cards to make payments on my
My Disney Experience account and save money on snacks and souvenirs once we are on our adventure. These savings can really add up!
While this probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Ruth, I hope it was at least helpful! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
