Hi Vicky,
It’s so great to see you here at planDisney! You must be excited to be just days away from your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. I can hardly sleep when I get that close to my Walt Disney World vacation!
Purchasing your
Theme Park Admission online is the best way to go, in my opinion. There is no waiting in line and the tickets will be in your
My Disney Experience account almost immediately. Sometimes it does take a few minutes for everything to synch up after you confirm your ticket purchase. If this is the case, I recommend logging out of your Walt Disney World Resort account online and on the
My Disney Experience app once you have confirmed your purchase. Give everything a few minutes to refresh and then log back in. Once you do, you should see your tickets in your account and you are ready to go!
Since
Theme Park Reservations are currently required, if you purchase a One-Day One-Park ticket, your reservation is made auto-magically. If you purchase a multi-day park ticket, you will need to make a park reservation for the park you plan to visit each day. If you purchase a
Park Hopper ticket, you will need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day.
Vicky, in late August (the summer goes by too quickly!), you should plan for some pop-up thunderstorms or rain. I always pack some rain gear. If you forget your rain gear, never fear! You will find Disney Parks-themed rain ponchos and some of the cutest rain jackets you could ever imagine at almost every merchandise location throughout the parks,
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels and
Disney Springs. And no matter what, be like Olaf, don’t let the summer weather keep you from having the time of your life!
I hope this information is helpful, Vicky. Please let us know if you have other questions; we are happy to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
