How do I pause a non active magic key?

    Hi, Sarena!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking us your question about the Magic Key program. Were you able to purchase a pass when sales resumed this week? If so, congratulations on becoming a Magic Key holder and embarking on your pixie-dusted year at the Disneyland Resort!

Sarena, Magic Key passes become active the first time they are used to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, and they can also be activated when using the included parking benefit in a pay-on-entry lot at the resort, such as the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. If you have not used your Magic Key for either of these purposes, it should not yet be active, and you have a year from your purchase date to activate your pass before it expires. Your Magic Key pass cannot be paused once it is activated. For more information, feel free to read the full Magic Key Terms and Conditions or call the Magic Key Membership Services line at (714) 781-7277 to speak with a Cast Member who can verify the status of your pass.

I hope this helps answer your question, Sarena. Be sure to check out all the benefits and discounts available to you during your year as a Magic Key pass holder. If you have any more questions, please send them our way!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
