In the past Disney did a wonderful cruise of the St Lawrence Seaway and Canadian maritimes. Will that ever be offered again?

    Ahoy there, Leslie!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with another Disney Cruise Line question, it's great to see you again.

Oh goodness! I know the cruise itinerary you are recalling and it sounds absolutely dreamy! As I remember, that cruise sailed from New York City. It has been a while since Disney Cruise Line took a bite out of the Big Apple, but there is nothing like hearing those distinctive Disney tunes from the ship's horn in the New York harbor. Cruises through Spring 2026 were released over the summer and we did not see any cruises up the northeastern seaboard, unfortunately. We don't know when or if the Port of New York will be the home base for one of the gorgeous Disney ships in the future. So, do what I do and keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog and the Disney Cruise Line Instagram account for updates.

The last time you visited planDisney, I know I shared that Disney Destiny reservations would open up in September and here we are! You can begin booking an epic vacation this week based on Castaway Club status. I'm looking at a few dates with stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay! While these are very different destinations than St. Lawrence Seaway, they are spectacular!

I hope this information is helpful, Leslie, and we see some of the itineraries you hope for soon! Stop by anytime with other questions; we love dreaming with fellow Guests about new vacations.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
