I have passes that do not expire from 2005. How do I update them? also can I transfer the remaining 3 days to my daughter? if so how do I do this? They are paper tickets.

Hey, howdy, hey, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney. Can you believe that you are about six weeks away from visiting the "Most Magical Place on Earth?" I know Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five are excited to see you again with these super special tickets. Why are they special? Well, they just do not exist anymore and that makes your investment in 2005 really magical.

There are a couple of ways to find out how to manage your passes but since you are not local email will be the best route. Please note that used tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable so you would not be able to give the remaining three days to your daughter. That being said, it never hurts to ask.

    Email
Non-expiration tickets are no longer available but entirely useable and Disney will honor them. Here is what you should do with your ticket treasure. First, email Guest Relations at ticket.usage@disneyworld.com with pictures of the front and back of your paper tickets. Include your full name, phone number where you may be reached during the day, when and where the ticket was purchased, the purchaser’s name, and, if you remember, the payment method, along with your questions and desired course of action. This is the best route because it will give you a communication "paper trail" as well as get your non-expiration ticket converted with enough time to make additional changes such as applying the value towards a ticket of greater value.

    Ticket Window
Present the paper ticket and your ID to any Theme Park ticket window or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. A Cast Member will research the vintage ticket and convert it to a current pass. Please be sure to keep it in a safe place because once it is lost, even if you have a picture of it, it is unredeemable.

planDisney Pro Tip. Did you know that you can create a Disney MagicMobile pass that will help you move through the theme parks similar to a Disney Band? Yep, and you create it through the My Disney Experience app.

Michelle, good luck with your vintage tickets. Be sure to keep them a secret until you convert them because Captain Jack Sparrow is always looking for treasure like this. Please write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
